What's included?
Get ready to enjoy the astonishing scenery and delicacies of the Huon Valley, including: premium wine tastings, gourmet lunch platter, local honey and more. This “unhurried” full day experience suits guests who like to move at a leisurely pace and are keen to experience a unique take on Southern Tasmania.
We accommodate a maximum number of 16 -18 guests (on a 20-seater bus) for more comfort.

Your itinerary
Alongside exploring the incredible scenery of the Huon Valley,
we’ll see the following sites
BATTERY POINT & SALAMANCA
We drive through some of the sights of historic Salamanca Place and Battery Point and then follow the “Princess Mary route” – beautiful views of the Derwent Estuary and some points of interest about our Tasmanian Princess (now Queen of Denmark).
MORNING TEA & CHANNEL MUSEUM
After a delicious morning tea right by the beach, we head to the Channel Museum for a trip down memory lane, with its remarkable displays of local heritage and history. You don’t have to be a museum fan to appreciate this gem of a place – there’s something for everyone.
LOCAL WINE & HONEY TASTING
We taste wine and sample gourmet relishes and chutneys at beautiful Cathedral Rock Vineyard, then head to the bucolic Huon Valley where we will taste local Tasmanian honey and see the dark waters of the Huon River.
LUNCH AT WILLIE SMITH’S
Lunch is a gourmet platter at the renowned Willie Smith’s Apple Shed, where you have the option to taste fresh organic cider and other gourmet beverages (not included).
PANORAMIC VIEW & 4PM DROP OFF
We travel back to Hobart, via a stop at a panoramic outlook, with spectacular views over the City and Derwent River, arriving by 4:00pm.
