From one island to another
We are a family owned and operated business. Rosie was born and raised in Hobart and met Lynn while skiing in Colorado 44 years ago.
We lived for over three decades on an island north of Seattle, Washington, USA. Now we have made our way home to our other beloved island home of Tasmania.
We have travelled extensively all over the world and developed a travel style that is relaxed and ‘in the moment’ rather than rushing from one attraction to another.
Island Time Tours believes in supporting the smaller communities and tourism operations that make our state truly unique. We are constantly rediscovering the hidden gems and treasures of Tasmania and invite you to join us on the journey.
Our son Jeff is an experienced guide/driver who has lived over half his life in Tasmania. Having spent his childhood on Whidbey Island in Washington, he loves his other island home of Tassie, and wouldn’t live anywhere else.
Our bus “Izzy” is a comfortable 20-seater with sheepskin seat covers, air conditioning, and an awesome sound system. She is named after Rosie’s beloved pot-belly pig in the USA. Like her namesake she is large and beautiful.
